Hey There! I’m Wendy.

Moving knowledge and ideas forward are where I like to work and play. And I’ll hunt clarity down the rabbit hole to do exactly that. It's my healthy obsession.

Graphic design jump-started things, but that was only a pit stop. Designing quickly led to a zigzag path in art direction, business development, recruiting, comedy, creative direction, brand consulting for women entrepreneurs, and writing.

Along this not so straight line, I called many cities home. Including: Minneapolis, Denver, Los Angeles, and back to the Twin Cities.

Performing long form improv was my weekly storytelling fix for a good four years. Creating unscripted scenes on the fly in front of a live audience. Communicating, plus connecting. Deep listening and adapting. Seeing possibilities is my superpower.

I believe we should always strive to evolve.

Learning to follow curiosities, embrace change, and let go of the unknown is critical for growth. It's all about human potential. Never underestimate the value of trying something new, while still being authentic to your character or brand story.

I also think it’s important to pause.

Know where your minutes go. Stop. Tune out the craziness of the world. Sit on the edge of silence. Pay attention to what comes up. Take the time to really think about what your work can bring to someone else. Is it a laugh, a motivational kick in the ass, or something that impacts their life in a meaningful way? Explore your inklings.

The goal is to do work that matters to you and adds value to others. Because that's where it's at—especially if you've got two turntables and a microphone.

At the core, I'm a big health and wellness advocate in the fight against stress and burnout. Rooting for people to boldly pursue a fulfilling career and way of living is forever in my DNA.

We all get one life. Why not live it?
